Spring Novice Referee Clinic Saturday, March 1st SAVE THE DATE!

There will be a Novice Referee Clinic hosted by the Arlington Judo Club, 2133 N. Taft Street, Arlington, VA 22201 on Saturday, March 1, 2025.

Time: 10:00AM – 4:00PM

 

Lead Clinician: Sharon Landstreet, IJF-A International Referee

 

This referee clinic is for pre teen to adults who are interested in learning the how to referee.

 

Cost: $10.00

 

Lunch provided by the Arlington Judo Club.

 

This clinic will cover the contest rules and referee basics. The attendees will get hands on experience refereeing mock matches. This event should prove to be both educational and fun for those new to refereeing. Bring your judo uniform.

Program provides reimbursement ($150 to $300) for athletes competing in National and
International level events. Juniors, Seniors, Masters/Veterans, and Kata competitors
can all apply to the Shufu Athlete Funding Program. If you have been a member of Shufu for at least 2 years and have participated in any of the events listed below, then you should consider applying for Shufu’s Athlete Funding Program!
