These are two fantastic events combined into one weekend for maximum benefit. Be a part of making US judo history.
Registration is OPEN. Please encourage athletes in your area to compete in the first Eastern Judo Kata Championship. Competition can fulfill promotion kata requirements.
Exhibition divisions for all ages.
Age categories: 12 and under, 15 and under, 20 and under, and seniors/ adults
Skill level: Beginner (1 set), Novice (limited sets), Intermediate (all sets), Advanced (all sets). See Smoothcomp for divisions.
Each athlete registers separately, if you are unsure of your partner at this time, you can enter: TBD
Early registration with reduced fees until July 11.
This is a USJF developmental tournament for kata athletes and judges

Program provides reimbursement ($150 to $300) for athletes competing in National and
International level events. Juniors, Seniors, Masters/Veterans, and Kata competitors
can all apply to the Shufu Athlete Funding Program. If you have been a member of Shufu for at least 2 years and have participated in any of the events listed below, then you should consider applying for Shufu’s Athlete Funding Program!
